Our conference theme is Applied Linguistics in contemporary contexts: practices, approaches, and future directions.

This is an invitation to explore and discuss what applied linguistics has to offer in terms of understanding contemporary issues and challenges. The theme is an opportunity for us to reflect on the changing practices and approaches that contemporary contexts require us to adapt to, as well as looking to the future to explore what roles we see applied linguistics playing in our increasingly interdisciplinary worlds.
