Army recruitment could be hit by charities portraying troops as victims

Dr McCartney said that charities are risking the undermining of army recruitment by portraying veterans as damaged victims. She says the image portrayed by charity marketing campaigns may put off young people from signing up and may even affect the chances of troops getting jobs when they leave the army. This was also reported in the Times.
