Biden and Netanyahu clash dubbed 'hot air' as US could end war but isn't using crucial 'leverage'

Speaking to TheMirror.com, Dr Andreas Krieg, Associate Professor of Security Studies at King's College London, says claims the US are putting serious pressure on Israel is nonsense but they do have the means to do so.

He said: "They're pretending, saying: 'We're fighting with Netanyahu, we are putting pressure on him but he's not responsive.' It's nonsense because if all you do is hot air and expressions of concern then you're not really serious about bringing this war to an end. And I think the US has all the means to do so."
