Invited concert and lecture at the Music and Medicine symposium sponsored by the Leslie Center for the Humanities and Department of Music of Dartmouth CollegeAbstract: Through the transforming of electrocardiographic traces of arrhythmia to collage music and the real-time monitoring of cardiac responses to music, I will demonstrate how music can be the means through which to gain insights into cardiology, advancing knowledge on the nature of arrhythmias and how people respond to stress and release.
