Description

BRICS is complementary to the existing institutional framework for international cooperation. While it offers an additional platform for dialogue that could be used for dispute resolution, it is questionable to what extent it can offer a multilateral stage for cooperation. Due to the diversity of interests and values represented, BRICS is likely going to intensify new avenues of bilateral cooperation and dispute resolution between its members.
