A talk by Joanna Bourke, Professor Emerita of History at Birkbeck, University of London on ‘Evil Women: Going Beyond Mad, Sad and Bad’. Professor Bourke will challenge conventional stereotypes and invites participants to examine historical and contemporary perceptions of women and evil through an interdisciplinary lens. Professor Bourke will be in conversation with Professor Fay Bound Alberti, historian of medicine and emotion and Director of the Digital Futures Institute’s Centre for Technology and the Body.
