Health Protection Agency Emergency Response Development Group’s Psychosocial and Behavioural Issues Sub-Group (ERDG PBI)

Description

The ERDG PBI is a tasked working group considering the role of HPA in mitigating the psychosocial consequences of incidents and outbreaks. The broad aims of the group are to: translate the evidence-base and new research from incidents and outbreaks for ERDG use; identify good practice, compile and communicate lessons from the management of the psychosocial and behavioural consequences of previous incidents; and inform the preparedness and response processes of the HPA as they relate to the psychosocial and behavioural aspects of incidents and outbreaks.
