Description
HERON completed a library road show in April 2012 in selected Lambeth and Southwark libraries. Researchers from the HERON Network presented locally relevant data from the South East London Community Health Study [SELCoH] study to interested members of the public and answered any questions about the results as well as how the research will be used to help their communities. Leaflets summarizing the study were handed out, with the researchers drawing attention to details of the website to those interested. The posters at Brixton library were presented in conjunction with a local authority health check event offering consultations and advice on common physical health problems such as hypertension and diabetes.
