Press release on our paper reporting the results of the first randomised controlled trial to show that extending sleep is feasible in habitually short sleepers in a free-living population was published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Furthermore, it was shown that extending sleep in short-sleepers resulted in reduced intake of free sugars, which attracted world wide media interest - including Newsweek, New Scientist, Time.com, NHS Choices website, most of the British newspapers, Huffington post and many international news media organisations (India, Russia, Australia etc).Period | 10 Jan 2018 |
