Description
Work with astronauts, astronaut trainers, scientists and NASA leaders! Compete to have your idea for an experiment built, launched to the International Space Station and carried out in space.
Be there at Mission Discovery in July at King’s College London one of the top 25 universities in the world. The programme is developed in partnership with the University’s Centre of Human & Aerospace Physiological Sciences (CHAPS).
You will be assigned to a team to formulate an idea for a biomedical experiment that can be done in space. You will present your idea and compete against other Mission Discovery teams to produce the best proposal.
You will take on the role of a real research scientist in a biomedical project to be carried out in space.
Our US partners have a Space Act Agreement with NASA that enables educational projects to be carried out on the International Space Station.
