Description

Funding awarded to develop a series of performance workshops to explore cultural transfer, cultural identity and the creative process of theatre translation. The workshops, developed in collaboration with a theatre practitioner, offer the opportunity for secondary school students to engage with a dramatic text translated from Spanish into English. Students take part in games and activities to experiment with different types of language and gesture to devise ways to perform the play in a way that would be relevant within their own communities.
