“#Gaza is a high-risk environment so people will be armed… at a bare minimum, the bridgehead will have to be secured for some time. They can’t just land the stuff and leave it on the beach.” If private firms were employed they would be given latitude over security, the analyst believes. “This is an extremely hostile environment where you would have to put armed contractors on the ground with a licence to kill”.
