Invited speaker in the first of a series of webinars, organised by Kent Research Partnership, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Adult Social Care Outcomes Toolkit: 'ASCOT is 10! |Celebrating a decade of the preference-weighted measure'. This first webinar, 'Evaluating social care interventions', focused on showcasing two studies that used ASCOT to evaluate services/interventions. Its aim was to demonstrate ASCOT tools in use in independent research. This talk covered the use of ASCOT to evaluate day centre services: study aims, rationales for measure outcomes for service users and carers, methods and measures used (ASCOT INT4, ASCOT INT4 CARERS), results, reflections on the use of ASCOT.
