The Urban Living Hub (ULH) strategically co-ordinates research activities across the Department of Informatics that address urban-related challenges by means of a portfolio project with partners from core sectors such as: energy, logistics, planning, pollution, transport, smart cities, culture and entertainment. There are three main themes of activity for the Urban Living:
The three sectors are core components of Urban Living. The hub research across all sectors is both complementary and intertwined, and highlights the interdisciplinary nature of the hub building on research expertise from Informatics (AI, Data Science, Theoretical Computer Science) and Engineering (Robotics, Telecommunications) alike.
