Research interests: near-field and nano- optics; scanning probe microscopy; nanophotonics and plasmonics; nonlinear optics and spectroscopy; surface plasmons and polaritons; nanostructured metals; optical properties of surfaces, thin films, semiconductors and low-dimensional structures.<br /><br />Current research: active plasmonic devices and nonlinear metamaterials, plasmonic nanophotonics, nonlinear nano-optics, quantum plasmonics, bio- and chemical sensing with plasmonics.
