Research interests
My research focuses on the reception and the representation of Shakespeare's plays in the Germany and Austria between 1933 and 1945, and I take particular interest in the possible malleability of Shakespeare's work and the extent to which the National Socialist regime adapted and appropriated it to fit their agenda.
