Lexi is a post-doctoral research associate in the addicitons team working with Professor Sir John Strang on the detection and prevention of opioid overdose.
Lexi completed an MRC-DTP PhD studentship at Imperial College London investigating the role of impulsivity in drug dependence with a particular focus on neuroimgaing. Following this she was awarded the SSA Post Doctoral Transitional Development Fund.
Lexi's research interests include identifying and understanding what contributes to the transition from recreational to dependent drug consumption behaviours and relapse. Lexi has a broad range of interest and skills pertaining to both cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging methods and is interested in contributing these in the field of harm reduction.
