Biographical details

Alison Jones is Professor of Law at King’s and a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP. Prior to joining King's in 1992, Alison read law at Girton College, Cambridge, worked at Slaughter & May and completed a BCL at Christ Church, Oxford. Since joining King’s she has taught Competition Law (EU, UK and US), Trusts, Property, and EU law.

Alison researches in the sphere of competition law, is co-author of Jones and Sufrin on EU Competition Law and writes two of the Centre of European Law’s modules for the Diploma in EU competition law. She is also currently Vice Dean for Academic Staffing.
