Biographical details

Anna is a PhD student in the Department of Geography at King's College London, where she is studying the effects of climate change and climate change solutions on racialised communities in the UK. Her project, Places of Contestation: Locating Racial Inequalities in Climate and Transition Risks in the UK is sponsored by London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS DTP).

Anna is also Research Assistant on Hopeful Futures, a King’s Climate & Sustainability Seed Funding project managed by the Policy Institute, with the Department of Geography and King’s Culture. Hopeful Futures is exploring how the use of new interventions within deliberative forums can expand the scope of climate policy options and build more hopeful visions for the future.

Research interests

Climate change, climate justice, critical theories of race and racialisation, racial capitalism.
