Research interests (short)

Anneliese Dodds is a Lecturer in Public Policy, specializing in comparative public policy and social policy. Her research focuses on regulation and risk in health, education, and the public sector more generally. Anneliese took degrees in politics, philosophy and economics (BA) and social policy (MRes) at the Universities of Oxford and Edinburgh, respectively. Her PhD, concerning the liberalization of policies towards international students in Britain and France, was undertaken at the London School of Economics. After a spell as an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the LSE, Anneliese joined KCL's public policy team, which delivers the innovative new Masters in Public Policy programme. Anneliese is currently Director of the Risk Programme within the NIHR King's Patient Safety and Service Quality Research Centre.
