Dr Nair's primary research interests are in the fields of property, trusts, and restitution. Her current research examines the principled justification for rules governing priority conflicts in various contexts, with a focus on the concept of tracing and the functioning of the land registration system.
Teaching
Dr Aruna Nair joined King’s in January 2013 as a Lecturer in Property Law. She graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Jurisprudence in 2006 and obtained an LLM at University College London in 2007. She went on to work as a research assistant with the Property, Family and Trusts Law team at the Law Commission for England and Wales, and to complete her DPhil at Brasenose College, Oxford.
