Research interests
I am currently a full-time PhD student within the Diabetes, Psychiatry & Psychology group (department of Psychological Medicine). My PhD research is mixed methods design aiming to develop a psychological intervention to address psychological issues with insulin initiation in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. I was previously a research assistant with the same department. I was lead researcher on a NIHR-HTA funded evidence synthesis of psychological interventions to promote motivation to self-management in people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
