I am a Roman historian with broad interests across the principate and late antiquity. My PhD research focuses on early Christian engagement with Roman judicial ideology, and how Christian authors used juridical themes to explore their experience of persecution and minority position under the Roman Empire. I also maintain interests in the Roman army in society, Latin epigraphy, and environmental history.
I can be reached at [email protected].
I graduated from my undergraduate degree in Ancient, Medieval and Modern History from Durham in 2016, going on to study for an MPhil in Greek/Roman History at Oxford. In October 2018 I began my PhD in Classics at King's on a LAHP (AHRC) studentship.
