    Bernard Dionysius Geoghegan is a theorist and historian of digital media researching how technology shapes science, culture, and the environment. He is also a curator for the Technosphere Project at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. Bernard earned a binational Ph.D. from Northwestern University and Bauhaus University Weimar. He has written on tcybernetics and the human sciences, interactive media and the making of physical environments, German media theory, the media infrastructures of spiritualism, and the history of human-computer interaction among other topics.
