Biographical details
Charity Aienobe-Asekharen has over five years of experience in the academic and nonprofit sector as a Researcher, Health Promoter, & Project Facilitator. She joined King’s College London in December 2023 as part of the Nicotine Research Group in the Department of Addictions.
She has an MPH degree in Health Promotion & Education from the University of Ibadan. She is a 2020 Commonwealth PhD Scholar and is currently studying for a Doctorate Degree in Public Health and Health Promotion Research at Brunel University London. Her doctoral research is focused on using a participatory methodology to co-design with In-school young people in Southern Nigeria for tobacco smoking prevention through health communication. She brings extensive experience in conducting and supporting impactful studies and forging dynamic partnerships to create innovative programmes.
