Dr Charles Reilly is an honorary lecturer for King's College London within the Division of Asthma, Allergy and Lung Biology  as well as his primary role as a consultant Physiotherapist in Chronic Respiratory Disease for King's College Hospital.

He is a member of the Allergy, Respiratory, Critical Care, Anaesthetics, Pain and Therapies Clinical academic group, contributing substantially to the Therapies branch of the CAG
