Research interests
Chris is currently researching into the international broadcasting of Radio Moscow at the time of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 and the subsequent US-led campaign to boycott the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. This research draws heavily on material produced by the BBC Monitoring Service and archived at Imperial War Museums, Duxford.
