Biographical details

Experienced researcher and academic, having worked within 5 different Universities in Europe (King's College London, Imperial College London, University of Liverpool, Technological Educational Institute of Athens, University College Dublin), member of the European Society of Radiology since 2004 and Invited speaker on different occasions in the field of Medical Imaging and Perinatal MRI (Italy, Norway, Sweden, Greece, England, Scotland, Austria, Czech republic).

Awarded the British Institute of Radiology Clinical MRI prize and Leonard Levy memorial prize in 2006 for her work in neonatal MRI optimisation and clinical applications, the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (1999-2006) for consistent academic excellence and the Biomedical Research Centre fellowship (2010-2012) for her research in fetal MRI.

Specialties: neonatal and fetal MRI, image quality optimisation and standardisation, motion compensation, high field MRI, MR Angiography, excellence in clinical education
