Christopher Sims

Christopher (BSc Hons., MA) was awarded his PhD from King's College London in 2015. His work has been published in Foreign Affairs, Small Wars Journal and Altre Modernità, among other journals. His thesis examined the evolution of the Human Terrain System and is part of broader interests in military anthropology and insurgencies. In line with King’s research policy, Christopher is committed to open access journals and virtual academies on the principle that making research and teaching freely available enhances the global exchange of knowledge. Study in the academic year 2013-2014 was partially funded by a generous grant from the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust.
