Dr. Colin Pilkington is a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Paula Booth’s group working on the biophysical characterization of membrane protein folding. He previously held a postdoctoral position at Imperial College London engineering novel lyotropic systems, elaborating on work from his doctoral thesis (supervised by Dr. Yuval Elani and Prof. John Seddon). Prior to his PhD, Colin spent a few years as a synthetic chemist (GSK, Illumina, & Sphere Fluidics Ltd.), having trained in medicinal chemistry. |
