Dr Craig Robinson is Reader in Business Education at King’s Business School and a member of the Strategy, International Management and Entrepreneurship group.
Craig joined King’s Business School in 2021 and has been teaching strategy and related subjects at all levels since joining academia in 2007. He has also worked with executive students in private and public sector organisations in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Craig was most recently Associate Professor of Strategy and Director of Digital Education at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Certified Management and Business Educator and a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools International Committee.
Craig has significant expertise in digital education and assessment, having led institution-wide work on assessment prior to and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Recent engagements include conference presentations on online pedagogy and invited speaker engagements in 2020 for the British Academy of Management on the future of online and multi-mode education and PTI International Education on Teaching Business and Economics Through the Lens of Covid-19. Craig’s management research is centred round environmental scanning, interpretation and response behaviours in individuals and their relationship to learning and capabilities in organisations. He is interested in the interplay between organisational process-based factors, individual behaviours and cognitive processes and how the changing role of technology in both scanning and analysis is affecting strategy process and outcomes.
