    1) Psychiatric disorders, mechanisms of disease, clinical assessment, treatment approaches and response to treatment, 2) Multimodal magnetic resonance imaging in affective disorders in relation to stages of illness and clinical response, 3) Meta-analyses.

    Biographical details

    Trained in psyhiatry at St George's University of London, Oxford University, Manchester University (PhD) and Maudsley Hospital/Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London. Research awards include the 'Research Prize' from the European Psychiatric Association and the ' Mental Health Researh Prize' from the Royal Society of Medicine.
