Personal profile

Research interests (short)

My interests are in evaluating effects of experimental therapies in preclinical models of psychiatric and neurological disorders, using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and corroborative methods such as behaviour, histology, PET and autoradiography.

I also manage the BRAIN Centre (Centre for Biomarker Research And Imaging for Neuroscience) where we undertake collaborative experiments aiming to develop and optimize translational biomarkers of brain disorders. The Brain Centre comprises of a team of dedicated scientists and state of art equipment that includes a 9.4T Bruker preclinical MR scanner.
