Personal profile

Research interests

I work at the intersections of sociology, anthropology, and science, technology and society (STS). Using ethnography and other social science methods, my research employs different collaborative and interdisciplinary formats to investigate how airs, atmospheres, and breathing are associated with environmental and human health. Recent projects include studying the role of novel air pollution sensing technologies in the practices of exposure science and medicine (ESRC New Investigator Award), and the impact of COVID-19 on waste management in the UK (led by Exeter University, ESRC funded).
