Biographical details

I am a social scientist and physiotherapist working in health services research and implementation science. I am currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Implementation Science at King’s College London. My research expertise and interests focus on: 1) qualitative research to examine lay and professional experiences of care, service delivery, support and self-management of long-term conditions and the social and cultural contexts shaping these; and 2) using qualitative and mixed methods approaches to develop, implement and evaluate complex interventions to improve the health, wellbeing and social support of older people with long-term conditions, in particular frailty, stroke and those with multimorbidity. I am leading a programme of research to improve the delivery and implementation of integrated care for older people living with frailty. I teach on the Implementation and Improvement Science Master's programme, and I am research dissertation supervisor on this programme, as well as on the King's Older Person's Fellowship programme and the Physiotherapy Pre-Registration Master's research project module.
