Research interests
Fay has carried out various research projects on care homes including an evaluation of providing facilities for people in the community in a care home setting; exploring relatives' roles in a care home; spouse financial responsibility for care home fees; lay peoples' role in care home inspection and the difficulties of setting up an advocacy service for care home residents. She has also worked on various projects concerned with sheltered housing long term care and extra care.
