Dr. Francisca Velásquez is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Dental and Health Sciences at King's College London, focusing her research on the visual and social perception towards individuals with visible facial differences. Her work seeks to foster greater understanding and empathy in society while enhancing the well-being of those affected by these differences. Furthermore, Dr. Velásquez is a proponent of innovation and the use of new technologies in dental education, in order to revolutionize the training of dental professionals through cutting-edge advancements in technology, leading to more effective patient care.
 
With her unique blend of expertise in dental care, maxillofacial prosthetic rehabilitation, and her holistic perspective of the dental profession, Dr. Francisca Velásquez is making significant contributions to the field, advocating for compassion and understanding in healthcare. She holds a DDS and a MSc in Maxillofacial and Craniofacial Technology.
