Mr
My research primarily focuses on prison mental health and the transition from prison to the community in prisoners with mental health problems. I work on the Critical Time Intervention project and my PhD thesis focuses on predictors of engagement with mental health services on release from prison. I have also been involved in a number of service evaluations of prison mental health services and have a broad interest in the criminal justice system and mental health.

During my time at Cardiff University studying Psychology, I completed a placement year at Broadmoor Hospital where I mainly researched cognitive sklls programmes for patients with severe mental illness or personality disorder.
After graduating in 2012, I joined King's College London and began working on the Critical Time Intervention project. This placed my focus on mental health in prison and provision of services after release. In 2013, I took the opportunity to start a PhD on this topic.
