Research interests

My research attempts to understand the neural mechanisms of emotion and stress response in schizophrenia, and how to intervene on those mechanisms early on to prevent or delay the development of psychosis. I use a combination of preclinical and human brain imaging along with behavioral/psychophysical experiments to explore these topics.
