Gretchen Larsen is a lecturer in marketing. Prior to that she held lecturing posts at the University of Bradford and the University of Otago (New Zealand). She has a PhD, MCom and a BCom (Hons) from the University of Otago and a PGC in Higher Education Practice from the University of Bradford.
Gretchen conducts research on arts consumption and marketing, and the consumer interest. Her research is built around understanding how consumers construct, perform and interpret their position in a socio-cultural world. She is an active member of the arts marketing community. In addition to publishing research in this field, Gretchen has also been involved in running seminar series and research colloquiums and has edited a number of journal special issues related to arts marketing.
