Biographical details
Hana Morel is currently Research Fellow for the Welcome-funded INKLUDE project, based in Research Governance, Ethics and Integrity whilst working across multiple faculties/teams.
Hana has over a decade of working across sectors with a focus in heritage, sustainability and policy in the UK and abroad. Her areas of interest include policy engagement and knowledge brokerage; heritage and archaeology; social and environmental sustainability, and; understanding democratic mechanisms. She has a particular interest in the role of culture and heritage in addressing international/national agendas and its contribution towards addressing global challenges.

She is widely published, and contributes to various heritage-related advocacy groups such as The Archaeology Forum, Heritage Alliance, and RESCUE. She previously was a member of the All Party Parliamentary Archaeology Group (2017-2023).
Hana was awarded her PhD from University College London in 2016 in which she explored the development of planning policy and archaeology/heritage in global cities and its impact on archaeology and heritage practice. She interviewed over 100 individuals working across sectors to then co-create a people-centred narrative of archaeology/heritage in global cities post-WW2.
Hana is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and Royal Society of Arts.
