Dr Idit Albert is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and PTSD Lead at the Centre for Anxiety Disorder and Trauma (CADAT), South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.   She heads the Psychological Trauma Outreach, Screen and Support Service for the London Terrorist Incidents, founded by NHS England.  She led the National Outreach, Screen and Support service for survivors of the terrorist attacks that took place in Tunisia, Paris and Brussels (2015-16).  Dr Albert led the Psychological Support programme on behalf of DfID  for UK medics working in the Ebola treatment centres during the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone.  She was a consultant on international projects for survivors of human trafficking and military veterans. 

Dr Albert was appointed as the Curriculum Director for the Doctorate programme in Clinical Psychology at King’s College University. She is a qualified CBT therapist and clinical supervisor.
