My work focuses on adherence to long-term anticoagulation therapy in chronic conditions such as atrial fibrillation and secondary prevention of venous thrombo-embolism. The aim of my research is to explore factors associated with health beliefs that determine adherence to these therapies and develop tools to support patients in the management of their medication and broader health.

Prior to my current role, I was a resident pharmacist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London. My job there exposed me to rotations in medicines information, technical services, acute medicine, geriatric medicine, urology, mental health, emergency surgery, elective surgery and paediatrics.
As part of the residency service I was the sole pharmacist working onsite out-of hours providing a pharmacy service to 3 hospitals made up of 1500 patient beds.
