Research interests (short)

My central research concerns include public space, political subjectivity, and the geographies of violence. The majority of my empirical research to date has focussed on a handful of post-industrial towns in the UK. My current PhD research is focussed on the town of Luton, Bedfordshire.

The preliminary title for my PhD thesis is: 

The Being of Difference - The Appearing of Us: Public Space, Violence and Segregation in Luton 


I am a member of the Spatial Politics research group.
