Philosophy of Economics, Rational Choice, Decision Theory, and Game Theory

My research lies at the intersection of philosophy, economics, and psychology. In particular, I focus on topics in rational choice, decision theory, and game theory. My PhD dissertation focuses on (i) alternative modes of reasoning in game theory, and (ii) intertemporal choice and self-control.

In addition to my specialization in philosophy of economics, I am competent in the fields of general philosophy of science, decision analysis, political philosophy, and ethics, all of which I taught as a graduate teaching assistant and more recently as a Teaching Fellow in Philosophy at King's College London and the London School of Economics.

I completed my BSc and MSc studies in Economics and Philosophy, a joint-subject degree, at the London School of Economics in 2005 and 2010 respectively. Since October 2012 I have been a PhD student in philosophy at King's College London under the supervision of Dr Natalie Gold (primary), Professor David Papineau, and Professor Sherrilyn Roush. I passed my viva in Deceember 2016 with minor revisions and have just learned the news that my examiners are satisfied with the corrections I have made. I currently hold the position of a Teaching Fellow in Philsoophy at King's College London. This academic year I also work as a part-time teacher at the London School of Economics.
