Biographical details

I have a BA in Anthropology/Archaeology from NYC, an MA in Egyptian Archaeology from UCL, and am currently a PhD candidate at King's writing a thesis on Greco-Egyptian economy, trade and identity formation from the 7th to 4th-century BC.  I have excavated at Mendes, Tell Timai, Khirbet al-mafjar, and I also worked for the CBRL British Institute in Amman as editorial assistant for the CBRL Bulletin and the CBRL website. My main research interests are in Egyptian economy from the New Kingdom through the Ptolemaic Period.

Biographical details

I am originally from NYC and graduated from Stuyvesant High School.  Prior to studying archaeology, I trained in Classical Guitar and Theatre Performance (BA/BM double-degree course) at the Oberlin Conservatory and College, and Acting  (BA Hons. course) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (Univ of London).  I have also studied at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Middlebury College Language Schools (French and Arabic) and UCLA (Egyptology).  I have worked as a research assistant for the Center for Biology of Natural Systems in NYC, the University of Hawaii, and UCLA.
