Research interests
My research interests include, identification of biomarkers (clinical, blood and neuroimaging) and vascular risk factors such as diabetes for dementia and cognitive impairment, conducting clinical trials using cannabidiol for neuropsychiatric symptoms in neurodegenerative disorders, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's disease, with the objective of translating the understanding and outcomes into routine clinical practice.
My clinical research interest also includes studying smell identification dysfunction in Alzheimer's dementia.
With the aim to improve post-diagnostic care and support, I have designed and developed mobile applications for people living with dementia and their caregivers.

My current research involves drug trials using cannabidiol for neuropsychiatric symptoms in neurodegenerative disorders, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, and identifying clinical and biological markers for cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s dementia.
