Biographical details
Liang Ge has received their Ph.D. from the Culture, Media and Creative Industries Department, King’s College London. Their doctoral project explores subjects, desires and affect in the digital production and comsumtion of male-male romances in China. Their research interests include digital media, gender and sexuality studies, and East Asian popular culture and creative industries. Previously, they gained a BLit in Chinese language and literature from Peking University, and MSc in sociology with distinction from the London School of Economics and Politial Science. Their research appears in journals including Media, Culture & Society, European Journal of Cultural Studies, International Journal of Cultural Studies, Continuum and Asian Studies Review.
