Gender & Sexuality, Feminist Theories, Popular Media and Culture, Contemporary Chinese Literature and Culture
Liang Ge is a Ph.D. candidate at the Culture, Media and Creative Industries Department, King’s College London. Their doctoral project explores the body, desires and embodiment in Chinese boys’ love culture community. Their research interests include cultural sociology, gender and sexuality studies, and East Asian popular culture. They received a BLit in Chinese language and literature from Peking University, and MSc in sociology from the London School of Economics.
