Personal profile

Research interests (short)

I have always had a passion for microbiology. In recent years, I have been lucky enough to work in the microbiome field, and have developed a keen interest in understanding how our microbiome influences health and disease states. Furthermore, I have developed an interest in how these communities, interacted with both the host, and other microbial cells. I use multi-omic data sets to investigate the role and impact of our oral and gut microbiomes on host health. Integral to these research interests, I have developed a wide appreciation for bioinformatics and am actively seeking to broaden this skill set.
