Dr Lucia Valmaggia

Research interests


I am a Reader in Clinical Psychology and Digital Mental Health at KCL and a Visiting Professor at KU Leuven.

Research

My research focuses on early detection and prevention for individuals with emerging mental health problems.  My work incorporates a variety of approaches including clinical phenomenology and outcome prediction, cost-effectiveness, treatment evaluation, service implementation and virtual reality.

I am the President of IEPA Early Intervention in Mental Health.

 

I am leading the following projects:

 

 

Teaching

I contribute to all aspects of the DClinPsych programme (teaching, team meetings, research supervision, appraising students, marking, etc), in addition I am the Head of Selection.
